Got do follow a coal train to the South Side by the local airport. It travels right across major streets and in people's backyards.Alex thought it was very cool. We followed it to the Southern Power Plant and then visited Mission San Juan
The life and times of Alex Shaver as he battles with Epilepsy.
It's Sunday. Wonderfuly sunshine, cool crisp air and Dad took me to Burger King and then to watch the trains at Bracken, Texas.

n Granpa helped me get shoes on so I could help drag branches to the curb. We also got a long orange cord for Dad to put in the Electric Saw. Then he cut off lots of brnaches.
Morning all,
Alex had a great weekend. He came home very happy Friday, did music therapy and then bugged me through out the weekend to take him to see trains or planes.
We did both many times over.
Then each night going to bed and even when I thought he was asleep (1:26 AM, 2:37 AM, 4:25 AM) he would call out form his bed, ‘Train. Train.’
I refer to this as his ‘manic state’. The seizures have cleared and everything is very vivid to him. He really enjoyed his food, wanted to do puzzle after puzzle, talk on the phone to his sister and constantly brought me my wallet and glasses (his way of saying we need to go look for planes and trains).
This morning he is a little more subdued. But he ate well (eggs and cheese) and is ready for the bus. His hand jerked several times when he was eating but I think that was just part of the waking up process.
Thanks for the puzzle books. Were they to remain with us?
He has money for bowling in his backpack.
Hope you have a grand day.
Neal
After my haircut we usually go out for dinner. There is a neat place close by called, Willie's. I get chips and cheese and some times a hamburger.Yeah we got your email okay. Glad the system is back in operation.
Well we learned a lot from the therapist yesterday. It appears we have a long road to getting Alex standing straighter and loosening his legs.
We hope things are going well at school.
We did have seizures Sunday morning, but the last couple of nights have been fine.
This morning he was difficult to wake up but has now eaten and is ready for the bus.
Have a great day.
