Yard work
Just helping Mom and Dad with yard work.
I really enjoy watching Mom use the hedge trimmer. I even take it afterwards and put it my room.
It kinda of drives Mom crazy but I like it a lot!
After that we sweep up or use the blower to get all the clippings.
With Dad's guidance I help mow the lawn as well. You can see I get easily distracted by the hedge trimmer, dog, airplanes, motorcylces ... whatever is going by.

Road Trip
Hey this is early but Dad got me up at 7 AM to leave and go get Grandpa. Then we are driving to Austin to get my sister Megan (Hopefully some Mac Donalds along the way.)
Grandpa and I take some time to relax and enjoy a coke while the girls get ready.
From there we are driving to Abilene to see Malinda, my next older sister. She is having her birthday and graduating from Abilene Christian University.
So after a great lunch everyone went to graduation. I stayed and did puzzles with a friend of Malinda's.
Here is everyone after the ceremony. At this school a parent, Mom, also participates. At one point int he ceremony they put the ribbon around their neck. It is kinda of a symbol of passage and graduation.
Sister Megan had a grand time. She went around cracking 'cascarones' (hollowed eggs that have been filled with confetti.) on graduates heads. Mostly those from San Antonio where people follow the same tradition during Fiesta.

Good Day
Neal and Marycke,
Alex is working on PECS in his ALE Reading Class. So far he uses Edmark Reading Picture to ask for Edmark and for more time on the program. He has also used the puzzle picture, shedder picture, and work picture. He will still not travel to give you the picture so we have not moved to the communication book yet. He is doing great so far. His new Edmark words are water, Mother, orange, and candy.
Enjoy chasing the trains,
Linda Higgins

He did fine today, except he was without sweatbands....and kept looking for them when he had to wipe his mouth. Mrs. Ory

Morning all,
We did have a fun Friday and a great time with all the rain on Saturday.
But after chasing trains Saturday night and finally getting him to sleep,
Alex started a series of 6 seizures, from 11:30 to 8:30 AM.
So we had to give him Diastat and he spent all of Sunday in bed.
But he is up this morning. Eating okay. No longer does he exhibit the
euphoria of last week.
Oh well, he will have to ‘work off’ the Diastat today. So you can expect him to be
a ‘little quiet’.
Regards,
Neal
